Museum Visit

Hello PPLE students! 

This year’s Arts Committee would like to invite you for a visit to the Van

Gogh Museum. It is a must see and there will be audio guides included! It will take place on the

26th of November at 14.00 and we will meet directly on Museumplein. The exact address is

Museumplein 6, 1071 DJ. This event is a great opportunity to visit one of the most famous

museums in the world and discover the extensive collection of Van Gogh’s art. Right now the

museum features two temporary exhibitions additionally to the permanent collection. The first one

is “Golden Boy Gustav Klimt” which draws on Kilmt’s work and how he was inspired by Van

Gogh, Rodin and Matisse. The second temporary exhibition features works of Van Eeden inspired

by Van Gogh’s drawing “Gasworks”. If this interests 

We would like to give you the opportunity to buy either a museum card or a single ticket for the Van Gogh Museum. With the museum card you have free access to more than 450 Dutch museums for one year!!! If you choose to purchase the museum card, AIM will subsidize 12 euros! You have to buy the museum card at the door (65€) and AIM will refund you the 12 euros (send an email to refund@aimpple.nl with your bank details). Please indicate on the registration form if you wish to buy the museum card.
