The Presidium is AIM’s highest body and regulates the Board’s and AIM’s operations, ensuring that they are compliant with our organization’s bylaws and statutes.

In addition, we coordinate the General Assemblies (GAs), where we propose new legislation or amendments for approval.

 

Leandro is this year’s Chair and a second-year politics major from Switzerland. Ahan serves as the Secretary and is a second-year law major from the UK. Despite these roles, the task division between us is flexible and we like to treat each other as co-chairs really.

With Leandro's previous experience on the Arts Committee last year and Ahan's knowledgeability as a law major, we hope to increase engagement with the legal side of AIM, clearly communicate with the Board, and support each other as a team. It is important to us that we are transparent and very accessible to AIM members.

 

For this, we also, for the first time this year, host weekly Presidium Hours.

This block, they take place on Mondays, from 11-13 o’clock.

Our main initiatives for the year include building upon AIM’s Social Safety Policy, introducing Safe Persons, boosting the Presidium’s visibility, and ensuring that the transition to the Presidium following in our footsteps is going to be easy and smooth.
